My next saber build will have a blue cutting laser
built in to the hilt. This is the diagram for the electrical circuit less the power switch, and the LED that will light up the crystals. My goal is to make this hilt as close to realistic as possible. based on my research this 2w cutting saber will be extremely fun to built and wield.

It will have a primary and focusing crystal built in to the hilt that will be illuminated via a LED. my plan is to have a window to view the crystals.  only thing left to figure out is how to recharge the power cell and gathering the parts. once the electronics have been tested it will be time to design the out side of the hilt. I have some ideas already. I intend to use some very nice Braided A/V cables to wrap the hilt with (they will have power flowing through them so you can feel the power flow through your hands!

Today i picked up what i think will end up being the emitter. My dad gave me an 40 mm automatic zoom with all the lenses. It is broken and does not work at all. He disassembled it to repair it and found that it was un-repairable. Either way it has adjustable lenses and both focus and zoom. I think this will make a wonderful emitter once i have modified it for functionality as well as aesthetics.
