Hmm. I may have to make an Indiegogo to fund the prototype I've been working on for awhile. Or at least try to fund a tablet for school. I'm not sure how a college can be so against laptops in class; especially when the student has degenerative bone disease that just kills the joints. v.v

A friend of mine is in Costa Rica for 3 months and we'd like to keep in contact during that time. They've been able to call me but I've not been able to call them and any attempts to text them (even emailing their mms gateway) has failed.

I'm wondering if anyone might have any thoughts I hadn't thought of or know anyone in facebook or something that could pass a msg on.

Update: Someone was kind enough to let me use their CC to purchase skype minutes.

Though from a much more abusive environment then your own, this was much the same issue with my own mother as I was growing up. At odds with everyone nearly all of the time.

My personal experience was that it was best to distance myself and, if possible, have the others away as much as possible.

Even into my my late teens and into 20s my mother (and step father) had issues with temper and finding confrontation with everyone.

I think the only people with the admin rights to do it are...well, Admin...and Nemo.

While it is a far from perfect solution, one could use the website below to view this site on their phone.

No, you're fine. It's a shortcoming of English. Too many homonyms and heteronyms.

Ah, so you want an animation style image vs actually animated. In other words, the frame of a cartoon vs the actual cartoon. xD I could probably do this very quickly with my 3D library.

As I've said previously, the council was initially a sort of board of directors for the registered non profit organization that is/was (unsure of current status) a driving force behind the temple. This brought with it specific legal aspects.

Besides, were we to go with the idea of department heads (even permanent ones as has also been suggested) this would limit us to...3, maybe 4 people? 5 if you throw in there a head of the Masters.

Though I have to wonder why a council might be better then the group of Masters for this sort of thing. If we're not able to have these discussions happen in the Masters forum (not that I have access) or even the knights forums, then I do not imagine limiting it to a handful of people will see any better results. As I've said before, it's not as if we're going to be tapping into some previously un-accessible vein of power to get things done on the site. We'll essentially be putting a new name to an old hat. The hat wont actually change.

Animated or in the style of animation? Such as the frame of a cartoon vs the cartoon itself.

Please do. The mytemple page is an underused feature, I feel. I've a means of making these widgets and various other computer wizardry work in posts but it's a little his and miss and I'm trying to make it consistent.

It might be the best option of having an easily accessible and manageable list of apprentices and their masters. A google list in a widget, for example. I say it might be the best option as it would be more ideal to have a membership module that supports these features but the admin team is hesitant to do such a thing in case it would mess up the site.
