Do the members of TOTJF realize what a cutting-edge tech site they have???

THIS is cool! (I almost had a heart attack when I couldn't figure out where I was hearing Todd's voice from and actually thought my speaker phone was one...LOL).

Nice addition!

This is such an excellent discussion!

I feel the opposite of hate is acceptance.

"Love and hate are very close akin", and apathy seems to be a lack of feeling or emotion.

But from hate to acceptance will change any situation or relationship. Not being an emotion but rather an act eradicates that duality of emotion from love to hate that is so often seen in fiction and life.

Apathy is a very, very interesting state of being. I am working through how I feel about it because of the complexity behind it.

Apathy is often used as a tool - and in this it is both available to the victim of apathy or apathy can be induced to control others.

Apathy should be discussed some time - I hope?

Thank you Kell Dor! I enjoyed reading about the Mandalorians.

But - it sounds like they have undergone many changes! I would never pre-judge anyone by the "myth" behind them?

Also - these are the Mandalorians of fiction. As we both know - those who follow Mandalorians and even Sith philosophies within the Jedi Community do so within the context of living their philosophies in daily life.

Just we who walk the Jedi Path? (We as Jedi are not brought up as "chosen" as toddlers and brought-up by the Jedi and trained in a temple...etc., etc., etc.).

Interesting conversation!

Why not?

But I agree to some confusion - and mostly a lack of knowledge on the subject. (I'm not big into the newer fiction or games.)

Do the Mandolorians have "teachings" or "codes" or similar - and if so - I would like to learn them.

There are some who I have always thought were "left out" of the Jedi Community for their physically agressive philosophies. But even within this - there is philosophy.

Frankly - with how many soldiers join the Jedi Community I'm not sure the Jedi ideals always assist them as much as those 'who have been through it' could?

TOTJF is the only Jedi Site where I've seen Mandolorians. I personally am very supportive of diversity - and as one who is now training here as a pre-apprentice feel the variety of philosophies should be known?

I too would like to know more!

May I ask...are you speaking of the fictional characters or the online Jedi/Mandolorians/Sith?

INTERESTING topic!!!

Thank you!

(I noticed a couple of things that may help new members navigate through the area).

I'll list them here if that's appropriate? KC and I were in chat one night and she had some really good ideas to improve the navigating for the new members - and also cleaning up some of the articles.

I believe there has been some digital "degredation" on a couple of the articles/teachings? I've seen the same on other old online sites...

Just thought I'd give the heads-up - and I'll post here as I find some possible problems as I go along?

Hey Todd -

Before you join - where it says "New Here?" it says you not allowed in that area... So no one can know what they are joining by clicking the approriate area.

...I am here as a new member. (Jedi Trials). Just thought I'd give you the heads up.
