I sometimes find myself still being bothered by things that have happened in the past, as I'm sure a lot of us do sometimes. I wonder what some opinions are of letting go of some of these things and how to do so.

My apologies for my recent absence and so soon after trying to get started. Had some things at home I've been trying to take care of since losing one of my jobs, but getting back in so I can move forward. Like Yoda said, "There is no try, only do or do not." (I think I got that right).

I think his promise sums it up well enough and is a good one. Makes sense and fits well I think.

Well said. The virgin birth is also told in Egyptian mythology about 3,000 or so before and us nearly identical. Tao Te Ching is very similar to the Proverbs in the Bible. All these are bits and pieces to a greater picture and share the same messages and I believe it's for a reason. We all needed to hear the same stories in some way or learn certain lessons, but they needed to be told in a way the culture and the time would understand.

I agree that in some ways funerals are a necessary part of the healing in a lot of ways. I've seen both things happen in my family, healing and people going at each other. Sometimes greed gets the best of people, but that's in every culture. Mourning helps people to move on, though. But, I also believe that we should celebrate a person's life. Everybody reacts differently. At the very least, I think those who have passed from this life should be shown respect somehow.

I suppose a somewhat reintroduction because I posted my introduction in another spot. I came to start learning about the Jedi religion back in high school. I had spent a lot of time searching for something that fit. For whatever reason I continued searching and came around full circle to this religion again. Though I'm currently practicing Wicca, I still feel drawn to the Jedi religion and have come to realize this is what completes the missing pieces I had. The opportunity to bring myself closer to my potential and hopefully someday help others do the same.

The Force has led me back to this for a reason. I look forward to seeing what comes of it.
