I have used Discord here and there, but I've never really taken the time to get to learn the program. But if we start implementing it as a training tool and even a means to communicate, that would be very useful to everyone.

I know there have been days where I have had some time to myself and jump into the Chat Room here and see if anyone stops in and I imagine some tumbleweed rolling by haha.

I am all for it!

Thank you everyone, I've gotta say, it is very refreshing to be back.
Haha the Force has a funny way of guiding you to places you weren't expecting, and it just so happens to have lead me back here. I'm sure I could tell a few stories of what I have been up to when I get the chance.
I look forward to seeing what everyone has been up to and becoming an active member again.

To be clear, I am not asking the question, "why am I still a Padawan."
This isn't me complaining that I am still a Padawan, I accept this as my position of sorts. See this as an explanation of why I am still a Padawan and have not been very active in some time. You can also see this as a reminder that this is not some kind of roleplay or fan group (which the Facebook page sort of gives off... but that is a discussion for another post.).

I have been a student of the Force since the end of 2008, I began my journey at the age of 14, 11 years have gone by and I am now 26 years old. During that span my presence here has been sporadic. Although I have not been an overly active member of this community, I have never stopped learning and training. The Jedi path is a life long journey and a commitment that is more than an online persona. Real practice and application is what we should strive for. I believe that a Jedi is one who upholds and puts into action; the Code, the Creed, Tenants, and Teachings of the Jedi, as well as continually striving to better one's self to better universe.

In my time away, I have been training and getting a better understanding of living the life of a Jedi. It had been very difficult. I have learned so much about myself and the world. To learn to accept one's emotional state and find peace in that, not letting it control your actions or responses, is in itself extremely difficult. And that is just the first line of the Jedi Code!

I have a few reasons as to why I am making this post. One of which is to say to everyone I am still here and haven't abandoned the Temple or my Master. Another is that I am sorry for my absence. It is important in a community like this one to remain active when you can and to participate in the discussions to learn and share knowledge with other Jedi.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope that you find there is something in this that you can take away and learn from.

May the Force be with you.

I remember doing this quiz quite some time ago. But times change, as do people. So I decided to do it again, and like the last time I received "Jedi Shadow." Yep, that sounds about right. I think I was only in debate between a few answers, the first was which planet you'd live on. The second being which droid would be with you. I was in debate between the pit droid and R2. I went with R2 because it would be more practical.

Hello everyone, I hope all is well.

This is a shout out to the Jedi who fashion clothing or can design them. I am engaged to be wed next year in August, and I am looking to wear a suit with elements of a Jedi tunic. Unfortunately I have not come across anything that fits what it is that I'm looking for.

I am not looking for anything too tacky really. I'd want it to be more of a formal suit/tuxedo. The colours for the wedding are Champaign and a blue, teal colour. The main colour for the suit is the campaign.

I'm open to questions of any kind or comments. Feel free to let me know, I'll be around.

Thank you all for the help/information. I'll be around.

May the Force be with you all.
*bows*

This is great, I find this is very accurate to me. I am well into my first semester of University now and I have almost always had an issue with procrastination. The Jedi path has helped me keep my focus and balance my work load. I still have this issue however. Even now actually I should be studying as come this next week; I have two fairly large writing assignments and two larger Japanese language tests. So I should get on that right away.

Hmm... Strange. For me the video is unavailable. However from the picture, it looks like one I have come across on the internet, and it is for sure an incredible construct.

I remember this video coming up on my recommended list a short while back. I watched it, and I it does make me rather curious as to what would become of someone here, who does not succeed in the trials. Maybe there is a topic somewhere that I have yet to see. But as a student who hasn't faced the trials, I yearn for the answer haha.
