I love this! It is so true! Every week, I try to reset everything by posting what I am happy about and grateful for. It's a Friday tradition.

Definitely an important and challenging topic. One book that's about this sort of is Leadership and Self Deception. It relates to how we treat others and how self-betrayal leads to self-deception and treating others in a way that is not what we would do at our best selves. It's by the Arbinger Institute.

For sure. And yes, organic is often more expensive here too.

I needed this for sure. After food and transportation, I end up with very little. Yes, you are right that focus determines reality. I remind myself of that all the time. My friend did financial coaching and she used a technique where you'd put the amount of money to be used for the week on one item in an envelope. Once that was gone, no more spending on that thing. I've never managed to make that work though. I'm on the low-income end of things while I look for work, which I hope to find soon. In the meantime, I also gravitate to the cheaper versions of foods as much as possible though if I had the option, I would go completely organic.

That sounds great! I never thought of doing that, but I bet it would work. Thank you for posting this! It's very helpful.

I love the cake analogy. It's true. The mistakes we make help us learn lessons. It's like Edison's talking about not failing but finding 10000 things that didn't work.

It's interesting. As aa person who is blind, I've taken what many would consider to be risks. I don't think I've done enough. And yes, filling out a survey like that at 95 is pretty impressive. My life coaches' pasy is what impact or mark we have on the world. Theay say that everything would do or don't do has an impact on ourselves and everyone around us and I believe it for sure.

I love this! I am a reiki master. I love the fascinating sensations of feeling the aura. I do a lot of singing because it brings me to a meditative state. The sun helps me feel better many times too.

Sorry about that. I guess I didn't provide enough info.:) I also realized that I started my journal in the wrong place. So I have been interested in the Force since I was a little girl. I was fascinated by what people did in the Star Wars movie while blind. I believe in energy and the oneness of humanity with each other and with nature. I was drawn here years ago but guess I wasn't ready to commit to training until now. I feel like my life has gone through many changes and I think it's time for me to really get myself grounded in the Force.

Hi. I'm Leena. I moved from California to Texas which is a bit of an upheaval. I was drawn to the Force ever since I was a child. Granted, it was from ertching Star Wars which I know this isn't exactly. The philosophy has always fascinated me. I have practiced healing specifically with reiki for about six years now. I'm very excited to start my training.
