Im about to finish Goggins book Can't Hurt Me. It's been a huge eye opener. As I prep for my first ultra alot of thing he said have rang true with mE and my life. I believe his book made it into my mandatory spread list for my future apprentices. Its all about the mind. I know Goggins uses awareness, discipline and creative meditation during his ultra to push through the suck.

As of right now he's running the moab240 (255 for him he got off course and added a few). Moab is 240 miles with 29 thousand feet of elevation change. Runners have 4 days to complete the course. Today is day 3 and Goggins is in 24th place after adding 15 extra miles to his race.

I think we all could use a dose of the mental fortitude that Goggins has. That's the reason his book is going into my training syllabus. There's no excuses, and no limits.

I understand that but it makes little sense to bring it in at the back end. Realistically it's a foundation and should be understood upfront. Once realized it really makes everything flow a lot easier. Sorry for the rant just my opinion here. It's not really a difficult thing to understand either. I mean we already teach that all things have the force flowing through them which is most of the battle.

This is more a question for the knights and masters here.

Do any of you teach animism as part of your syllabus?

Recently ive been studying a lot of shamanism and one of the key principles is animism. It occured to me that animism is probably the best way to explain the force and its interaction with the world. But then I started thinking back and honestly can not remember this concept being talked about or mentioned in the years I've been here.

Why do we not teach animism as a core fundamental understanding?

This is more of less just an open discussion so any and all thoughts are welcome. No judgment. Love you guys have an amazing day.

Greetings and welcome Jerry.

I love Asatru as much as i love jediism. Not alot of people at the temple talk much about norse "mythology" (sorry I hate referring to it as mythology). Please if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Even if you just want to chat. Everyone here is more than willing to help.

I see a few pieces of software that look familiar. Wish I had a pc that was up to the task so i could check our some of thw new software That's on the market. Ifbtou can get past the learning curve looks like blender is the best one to use. All my experience is with older corporate software which is expensive. Blender is free and open source from what ive read.

I was shocked to see solidworks was listed as number 3 on the list and autocad at 7. People underestimate autocad more often then not. Having said that some of the newer sorftware is speaker with a better user interface.
