I wear a necklace with rose quartz almost every day. I like the associations the crystal carries with healing and love, and from time to time I hold it in my hand and imagine charging it with my own essence/energy. No idea if it actually accimplishes anything, lol, but it gives me a little boost when I need it.

I hate to be so in between, lol, but I see both arguments. I love the idea of expanding the temple into more studies - but at the same time, Master Scythe hits the nail on the head: it's all the Force, so why pick sides?

I actually find it helpful as a matter of perspective, though. If I think of my training as on any one side, I unwittingly ignore (or even avoid) the other. It's also a bit fun to play with all the identities and the connotations associated within them. I believe it helps develop a holistic approach to one's studies. Exercises and lessons within each (light, gray, and dark) in order to be a well-rounded Jedi?

I'm a recent Discord convert and it's great. I'd join a TotJF group in a heartbeat. I'm a member of a Sith group on Discord and they're lovely. They do training primarily over chats and specialized training channels with success.

I also really like Reddit as well and could see that being much more easily accessible from a phone.

As for FB, I find it all too public. I stay away from groups because anything said there shows up in all your friend's feeds and in Google results for your name.

Hello Marcus and welcome!

I'm so glad you've chosen to study here. It's a nice and friendly (though occasionally quiet!) place.

Feel more than free to jump in anywhere and ask questions about anything you'd like. We like that kind of thing around here.

I'd been thinking about taking the lead on it, but the week got away from me before I could post as much.

All are welcome, non members through masters, and even on a casual basis. Anyone interested, drop me a PM or post here. Sundays work for me.
