If there is interest, I'll be willing to host a distance Reiki 1 class. You will receive the Reiki 1 attunement and understand the basic history of Usui Reiki and hand placements, as well as common treatments.

I feel tired. I feel that it is too big for me to wrap my head around, with too little influence in the spheres that will need to be tended.

I feel weak. After months of mediating and tending the threads of lives that make up such a colorful spectrum, only to see the worst in people suddenly unleash.

I feel afraid. Afraid that the choices over my body are going to be taken away from me again. That I will have to go back to the numbed mind I came from to protect myself from what I had to endure.

Most of all, I feel intense. I have a magnified sense of awareness in the movements and words of people. It helps me when I mediate to bring about the best result for all involved.

But I feel tired. I feel weak, stretched thin across the Force.

I'm seeing an increase of people masking their discomforts in public, using the relative anonymity of the internet to vent their emotions. With these days being what they are, I want to take a moment to speak with my fellow Jedi about anger that is being expressed on a large scale. I'm sure we've all seen it. The inconsolable, the depressed, the denying. The cognitive dissonance of our era is opening up in the forums it feels it can be safely heard without requiring the acceptance of new information.

Please take a moment here to appreciate that there are no 'facts' we can present that will take away their pain for them. They're not looking for facts, most of the time. They are looking for feelings. We are beautifully irrational creatures. :) Hold space for them. You don't have to agree, and you don't have to change their minds right now, when they are emotional.

If you feel comfortable enough, you can point their attention to the positive aspects of their beliefs. Remind them of their courage when they speak up, their strong moral core that shapes their beliefs that refocus their attention on being a human being.

Most of all, be kind to yourself. :) Respect your own limits.

Beautiful. :) I have a seat cushion on my computer chair with the sri yantra on it, the energy is fantastic for reminding me of the interconnectivity of all things, manifest and unmanifest.

A tip that took me years to really understand, is to send the energy with the heart, not the head.

Love you all.

For those of us who need a reminder on how to stay connected to the Inner Master, I'd like to recommend the following. It has proven very useful to me when I am less than grounded.

With the energy of the Force, point to the Inner Master and follow the energy.

Out of curiosity, I'd like to hear your own experiences if you try this.

I've been out of touch for too long! :(

I'll abstain from this round until I can get to know everyone again.

I've seen it come up in a few students over the years. I feel that this could be an aspect of knighthood training that would help our Jedi understand how to address the dark side in themselves in order to have better understanding and empathy when helping others out in the field. It may also help in retention, as some apprentices have left various Jedi training sites because they felt that their Dark Side tendencies would ostracize them from their Jedi community.

I also think it's unfair to expect Jedi to help in areas they have no experience with, and dealing with the Dark Side does require care and caution.

All this said, what do we believe 'Dark Side' entails?

Just a thought, but when you are meditating, how do your jaw and sinuses feel? It might be that the relaxation is allowing your body to settle in and circulate better.

I love that this topic is being discussed so openly and without comparison. I feel like this shows great respect for each other and the paths we are all walking in the Force.

Can I place a small suggestion, and state that the Inner Master is everything you will become?
