I have been collating some data to put together for a kind of holocron of inspiration, and while transcribing some quotes from Jedi Fallen Order, a beautiful message appeared.

I wanted to share it for all of us who may be walking through Force-given Trials as a reminder that, while faith and hope might make for the Light Side, it's the choosing to continually rise up that makes us Jedi.

"Yes, it is difficult, but with persistence and the Force as your ally, you can overcome any obstacle. Focus. The Jedi do not seek aggression, but we stand against it. The Force is there to shield us. The obstacles in the path define the path. What stands in the way becomes the way. And where is the Force? In you, around you. It connects you. There are times when emotions, pain, exhaustion tricks you, making you feel cut off, isolated. This is an illusion. It may seem out of reach, but you remain connected through the Force. Feel that energy around you. The Force is with you, it connects you. So keep failing, keep getting back up. That is the only way to succeed. Do not allow yourself to be weighted down by ego and pretense. Let go of what you fear to lose and rise up.

Keep getting back up. So long as you can get up, you are still in this fight. Hold the line, Trust only in the Force. Don't let fear break your connection to the Force. Failure is not the end, but a necessary part of the path. Where there is hope, there is always a chance. Remember, persistence reveals the path.

So get up. You're not dead yet. All of your failures are in the past and it is what you choose to do next that is important."

Thank you, Master Octagon. The switch, though small, feels quite ceremonial in a good way.

May the Force guide us all.

I love the harmony of this timing, as "what do I want to bring forward next" has been running circles in my mind. I do my best to avoid the traps of trying what has already worked for me in the past, while expanding beyond my comfort zone of today.

Count me in!

I've taken this week to contemplate the meaning of Peace as a way to be of service in my community. For such a 'vanilla' topic, it's remarkably complex to talk about productively in this manner. Previously, I would have considered it an ideal, a moral value and a feeling. Now, I would call it a habit.

I began by mapping what Peace is to me. The feelings I've associated with it over the years (calmness, sleepiness, passiveness), the beliefs around the definition of peace (Peace is the opposite to War, Peace is only for when nothing is happening around me).

Then I took apart the processes, beliefs and triggers that create the polarities of Peace (Grounded or Striving, Passive or in Flow, etc.), and I begin to see Peace as a need to be triggered as a balance to something external. I notice where I formed beliefs around when I allow myself to feel peace, and when I am not allowed to feel at peace. When I allow this constraint to fall away, I've freed "Peace" from being something to react to in my awareness.

I've change Peace from being 'calm', 'passive', or 'disassociated' into a sense of becoming a fullness of presence in myself and my world, a sense of ISness.

In this light of knowledge, I've changed Peace from a passive reaction that happened by chance, into a conscious choice to be present with what is. The more I choose to be present in this state, the better I develop a habit of Peace.

There is no Emotion, there is Peace.

"I think it's also important to remove statements like "I am angry, I'm mad" etc.."

I totally agree, it's a delicate balance between acknowledge the sensations, and embodying their definitions. The same goes for doctor 'diagnosis'. It's amazing what you can change when you go from:

"I'm Depressed" to "I am experiencing Depression."
"My arm hurts" to "my arm experiencing an injury."
"I have an Autoimmune disease" to "my body is experiencing an autoimmune response."

I acknowledge where I hold on to these sensations within myself and allow them to pass or to shift in their appropriate time. The feelings, sensations, beliefs and the time they exist in are all a part of my ecosystem.

Thank you for sharing this, Master O.

One of the trickiest pieces of advice I've ever tried to integrate was was "We can only ever take people at face value". That it was okay to trust what people were telling me without second-guessing, and that the speaker was solely responsible for meaning what they say.

We can also include ourselves in this wisdom. The unconscious mind doesn't process sarcasm or humor; and what the thinker thinks, the prover proves. The negative statements we tell ourselves, out loud or internally, are hard at work to become your reality.

We don't have to walk in that darkness. :)

"A place of victory" sounds incredibly poetic and inspiring! What can you tell us about your Place of Victory?

I think a lot of growth and value could be found when we all take some time to really understand and answer these questions:
How do you know when you've found it?
What does it feel like for you?
How does being in a Place of Victory change your ecosystem?
