Wow it looks really scary but in a good way! I really like how you can portray feelings with your drawings Yea though I wouldn't say ferocity myself but firmness is indeed needed in some problematic cases. Hope all is okay now

Holy crap, that's really a LOT of things, man. Really curious about your work! You can either share them with me in PM or there is a subforum here for creative activity and arts, called 'Yoda's Den' where you can share with all of us if you'd like so!

Cool, meditate on your thoughts and post them when you feel so. Take your time, proceed in a tempo that feels right

Thanks for your answers! :D

We all have demons that we can either try to ignore or understand how they influence us and every aspect of our life. They are teachers also. We can't be free of them until the lesson has been learned.

That's what I exactly meant too, and this is what I said is not necessarily a Dark Side thing, moreover, shunning this part of life instead of understanding it is unwise and exactly what leads us to the Dark Side (in the unhealthy meaning).

instead of fighting yourself or hiding from yourself, you use them in the highest ways possible.

Jedi don't fight or hide from themselves either (in a good case) but yea now I understand the difference. Understanding/accepting something and embracing them is not the same thing. The latter is a matter of focus. It matters where you focus is at.

I really try to do my best to understand but I think misinterpretation happened at a vocabulary level in my case and we do actually agree. No matter the C1 English degree, am still just a Hungarian lol

(edit: misunderstandings, then re-read the comment)

Thank you guys! And Sinistra to answer your questions:
1: To find the healthy balance between extremes, I personally have payed attention to when my extremes can start reaching too high , I then start breathing exercises until it balances my mind out and clears my head enough to make just and sound decisions.

2: I view passion as a double edged sword, being a musician I have learned that there is healthy passion ( drive and motivation to continue or start a journey or task) and unhealthy passion which I have noticed is almost blinding to some people, who invest so much passion that they forget to concentrate on the present moment to achieve the goal they are passionate about. So I do believe passion can be both a positive or negative feeling or emotion depending on how well you can keep yourself in check!

Hi Veran! Sorry for the late reply, was working a ton and didn't have any time for anything besides sleeping lol. I like your answers very much, especially the clarification on passion.

Off: So you are a musician, it's cool, what do you play? (I am a wannabe musician myself, too, learning to sing and play the guitars and drums at the moment!)

Amazing job on the Creed and Tenets, too! I like how you can express your interpretations in a wise yet clear, simplistic way and there is a lot of positivity in your words. Keep up the good work!

Very good start with the Code interpretations! I have a few questions, though. Not to argue on your interpretations, just being curious about your views in more detail.

Here it goes, the first line 'There is no Emotion, There is
Peace.'
While being careful to stay focused and not to be controlled by the emotions, how do you avoid getting to the other side of the fence? Some people (in and outside of Jedi Community, too) equates this to the pursuit of being emotionless, which, of course, is not possible but the pursuit itself is unhealthy, too, and sometimes not even conscious. How does one seek a healthy balance between extremes?

Passion can be a very inflammatory sensation that can wreak havoc on the mind. Serenity is balance, Serenity is peace. Therefore a serene mind would be more wise to own than a passionate mind.

What is the meaning of 'passion' to you? Is all kind of passion harmful or is there good passion too in your interpretation? Or is it one type of energy which can potentially lead to negative or positive consequences?

Quote:
-There is no Chaos: There is Harmony.
Chaos can also be looked at as harmony in the balancing process, in life all things will eventually balance out. harmony is balance.

Love this, very well said!

Mind that there are no wrong answers to my questions. Again, it's just curiosity.

Sith training would be an acknowledge of our darker sides and learning to understand how passion, when used correctly, can take us to a higher level of understanding and empowerment.

How Jedi training is opposed to this concept? (or with different words: what makes it a Sith concept?) Facing our Dark Side is a part of the process and is perfectly a Light Side approach. That's part of what Jedi Trials are about. Denial is unwise, even fictional Jedi admitted it eventually. Also, the original Code says "Passion, yet Serenity" which implies one can be in balance with the other if we do it the right way. The Sith seek no balance, maybe that's the difference (not saying any negative words against them, just observation). The Code we use "There's no passion, There's serenity" in my interpretation, even though a denying phrase, only gives the real nature of the two things as illusion and reality (with the others lines, of course) but not an excluding way. Sorry if I get something wrong, it's late here and I am tired lol. Feel free to correct me.

@Mike: awesome drawings, as always!

Welcome, Veran! It's always a pleasure to see other Orders' members join! I believe we can from each other and from multiple sources. I hope we get to know you better.

FB can be good for general community life, video chat and making events but doing anything that requires order and organization, like a training program, it would suck at.
