http://thejedimanual.webs.com/

I set this site up the other day and I am hoping to have it completed soon. As of Saturday I had the bare basics for being a Jedi Knight posted, which is about 50% of what I want to have done. I am working more on the specific Jedi paths at this point and more advanced Jedi Knight level information. I am hoping to have the site completed by the June 15th with May 31st being my stretch goal.

The next sections I will be working on is a basic 1st aid information page as well as some basic reiki scanning and treatments.

For the Jedi Guardian aspect I will be posting some basic poomse or kata we use in WTF Taekwondo as well as videos of a person doing each form. I will spend some time recording my private practice sessions and place those videos in the Jedi Guardian self defense section. Thankfully youtube also has some wonderful videos for this as well.

There has been some requests for putting up a basic forum which we the KS Jedi group are still thinking about doing. 3 of the active members have agreed to allow their images to be used and have also agreed to put up basic lessons of thier preferred areas. The forum if completed will not be a training program for those who wish to be Jedi Knights instead it will be for those who can call themselves Jedi Knights will looking into the the mirror and would like to look more into "being a jedi knight" as well as more advanced Jedi Healer and Jedi Guardian training for real life application.

Again we have not decided to go through with the forum, however we will make that final decision by May 31st 2009.

The Website
http://thejedimanual.webs.com/

IF possible open 2 windows to the website. Keep the first window or tap open on the home page and you will hear music I used during Reiki Treatments, Attunements and meditations. I will be posting the music on other pages as well, but that will be more for the final touches.

If we start a forum we will post a link here as well.

Please feel free to post anythoughts you wish on the last page you do not need to leave your email adress, if they push you to leave a email adddress just do something like jedi@yahoo.com for the email.

Very nice. I would suggest a section on meditation. So The Force would have it's own section as well as meditation. You combined them which is OK but I think both are so important perhaps they should have their own sections so that they can be expanded on. Just a thought.

Hmmm Indeed, very interesting. I was wondering. Where did you get your sources from? While browsing that site, I noticed alot of familiar....articles...there. It might be wise, and Highly suggested that you site your resources if you plan on using them.

Thank you for your feed back.

The last time I created a What is the Force page I met some resistance from people of a certain faith that killed my suggustion page. The Group would post referances to thier holy book and then others who did not share their views would post comments back to them and it was a nightmare. I had to delete the feedback page and the forum that was on the site to stop the drama.

At this point I want to focus more on "feeling" or attuning" with the force and from there once people feel it or are attune to it they will be able to find a find thier connection with what the force is on there own. As time and the needs of the site change I may review that decision.

Honestly when I was doing the final work on Sunday I honestly believed I was half way done, however after looking at it today I think I may barely have 25% of the stuff I want to have on it. I may even half to push the offical we are done date back to June 30th.

Currently I am working on a idea of posting a audio guided "light" meditation that I really enjoy as well as other video meditations.

as well as the Taekwondo poomse/form page with step by step directions and video clips.

The pratical application page is going to take more time then I thought. I am going to have step by step cpr directions as well as a good bit of first aid skills like stopping bleeding, making splints, bee stings and other such things.

I am going to exend the reiki page to a reiki level 1 attunement video as well as step by step directions for self scanning, scanning others with some minor treatment stuff.

In the military you to to basic training then AIT training "advanced individual training." After reading some of the feedback I recieved on the forum and from other sites I am really thinking about creating the Jedi AIT site. This will assume everyone is Jedi Knights and will focus on advanced guardian, healer and teacher aspects of the jedi path. My friends/students agreed to take on a large role if I do this so with my 3 actualy stuents/ now after close to 4 years of training Masters in their own right it will be a lot easier then last time I did it. They are funny they will help with a forum but they are letting me do the website on my own.

TKD Jedi,

What you have here looks good so far. You will find that the membership here at this Temple is very open to new ideas as long as they are presented with an openness to suggestion. As far as a Jedi AIT, as you read and become more familiar with the members of this Temple, you will see that many of us have chosen a 'path' already...so to speak. But we try not to limit ourselves to a singular label. I am looking forward to seeing your ideas as they roll out.

May the Force be With You,
Jedi Grayson Dark

Personally I agree with the Jack of all trades master of none quote.

Personally I think trying to learn too many things is more limiting then trying to follow 10 paths at one time.

Yes as a Jedi I focus on my studies of Taekwondo, and Reiki. In the past I trained in other martial arts, however now I am working on becoming a Master in Taekwondo instead of belt seeking as many martial art styles as I can. True in the past I have done other style, but now thankfully I do not feel the need to jump styles.

I believe that those who focus on the "JEDI GUARDING" path they more often then not will train in a varity of martial art styles but seldomly if ever earn higher then a 3rd dan in any specific style.

I like the website you are setting up. However, there are a LOT of typos. Just so you know, since some people will judge a site more on spelling errors than content.

Odd my computer did not pick up A LOT of typos. I am sure there are a few but that is actually normal for most sites, books and so forth.

KitsuTails

I am sorry I missed this message months ago. You should know most of my work as it was posted at JUSTJEDI and many other Jedi boards. Your husband also knows me quite well!

If you want some help on the Force section and not just copy and paste info anyone can find within a 10 min search, feel free to pm me and I'll see what I can do.

You also might think of a link section related to other Jedi sites.
