Though I am not fully in favor of this idea, I will stand with the Council and I swear that I will not let it fail.

The policy and reviews committee is far from being inactive. It's been inactive here because nobody reads or responds to the posts. But rest assured that the few of us have been keeping in touch with each other over time and attempting to adjust and reconstruct things ((which I have shared with Scythe and Kyp amongst many. Policy and Reviews is still a very impirtant department....or at least ((now that I know it's inactive 6 years later)), it should thrive and be a part of the hand of evolution.

Even if this means that we are Council or not. Makes no difference. At least we would have a legitimate source to go to now and actually approve of things.

I've even gone as far as reconstructing doctrine, the creed, and the code.

But I had posted them, with zero guidance of an approval team, and they just sit there and collect dust as being an archived art project.

Now, I do not propose that any or all of my work gets used, but it was definetly a utility that was supposed to spark a bit of directional inspirations a while back. It's not the committee that was inactive, it was the responses that were inactive.

Agreed. I tried to pick things back up in 2010 to see what was done, not, etc...unfortunately it never got anywhere.

If I post stuff and feel a formal response is needed I would bump or make a formal request for something to be done, until done. Just saying'

I based my thoughts about this because of the link I posted above. I noticed it appeared to be decided that policy and such would be decided by vote of all available Masters and Knights. I also noted that there was no response from a policy committee member saying otherwise until now.

I suggest that the currently active committee members who are now members of the council set up a meet to decide on this issue and if additional Knights or Masters are needed on the current council.

So far, that I know of, we have the following:

Ace
Out of those members, if any feel they haven't been or cannot be as active as needed, I personally have no problem if you want to sit this term out... We (The Council) can always pull you into active duty so to speak if needed. I do feel we need the following Masters now, however:

Juvehile
Nemo
Harvengure

That is if they feel up to the challenge. Each has something vital to bring to the table. I would also like to see Merin on board, but I understand he cannot be very active right now. If he can, and is willing, I would say we need him as well.

If I've missed anyone, please feel free to correct my error.

I see! Not wholly surprising to be honest. :P Given that attempts for the members of the committee who were still around to start it up again (and didn't spot this post :P) went unsuccessfully. Tricky tricky Octagon. :P

To be fair. I think the members who have consistently been around and stuck it out by being on the KM, or PC should be council members at this point. I even agree with Ace being on the council because he has started our goggle plus page and our Skype forum and works on the committees on a regular basis.

But of course the final decision is not mine or Master Kyp's. It goes to all the current council members on Kyp's main list to decide, as a group. I look forward to hearing their thoughts.
