I was blessed with an abundance of patience but lately I'm running a bit low. Just have to recharge and reenter more often that's all.

We use those as well along with winter green, cypress, blue spruce, lavender and a few others.

The tree thing I give all the credit to my wife on. Neither one of use could keep a house plant alive for the longest of times. she dedicated her self to making it happen and now we have 3plants that are over two years old. Two that are almost two.

I have to say that I always liked the idea of house plants but also didn't see why people kept them. I fully understand now it makes such a difference in daily life in so many Suttle ways. Possibly because humans where never intend to live in artificial environments we have to connect with nature or we go crazy. Ie.. Submarines need í say any more (I've known a few that spent a year on the water.... Well under it and while they still are functional human beings they are different (a bit weird). I'm sure cabin fever has alot to do with it but so does magnetic, and lack of exposure to living things.

I've always liked house plants also and have just decided to really get into them. I always get good feeling when around a lot of plants. Walking in the park or even walking into a plant shop feels really great.

That's why I like Feng shui it teaches us about the ebb and flow of the Force. How to identify low and high energy areas in our homes and make adjustments.

Just doing the reviews once or twice a year and making small changes here and there have helped to make a lot of positive changes in my life.

Here's a tip everyone should have at least one positive poster in their home. Everyone there will absorb it's message into their lives. Some of the best ones simply say, 'I love you.' or 'Genius.' The first one makes people feel loved, more confident, and secure. The second actually raises IQ's because it sends a message to the subconscious. I usually have a positive word or phrase as my computer background image.

I can so relate to that. I can't for the life of me keep plants alive, so I tend to leave them be out in nature where they can tend themselves in the natural manner :D

But it's nice with something that fosters harmony in the home. For me that's always been done best with colors and certain color compositions. Green and peach seems to just synergize really well for me.

Also, I have this thread with green crystals hanging on my wall. They make "good energy". I think it'll be very different from person to person, and also based on what room, what we need to have there to have it feel like good space. I really should get more into Feng Shui, it's very interesting and does work quite efficiently. As of right now, the only rule I always obey is no mirrors in the bedroom. It gives bad energy. I really can't sleep with reflective surfaces in the room. Though, not sure why that is, for all I know it's just the creepiness factor, lol.

nira you are correct. Different rooms have different natural energy as they are constructed from different materials (even same materials differ because they don't all originate from the same source ie the same tree or same stone.

On the color spectrum different colors emit different frequencies of sóund as well as light. Colors can have different effects on different people. Red is a perfect example. Some people find peace and others anger. I think it has to do with the frequencies of sound and light. Red is low on the spectrum and may align lower than a person's natural frequency. This would cause a drop in your frequency making you feel worse not better. As where green is about half way up the spectrum. I'd expect green to be simular to 7 on the ph scale, which would make it nurtral (my opinion not backed by research). If so then it's frequency is probably in the same range as the human body (when healthy).

Mirrors are used to reflex negative energy from a home by putting them in the window. Also each room is base on a different aspect of a persons life, depending on which way the entrance faces.

It's really very fascinating and everyone should take a class, view some YouTube videos or read up about it.

FS is basically the study of the flow of the Force and in some countries people and especially businesses pay experts big money to decorate their places. It's said that what we call bad or good luck is actually bad or good energy flow which can keep us healthy and bring good fortune in different areas of our lives.

I'll write it up as a future project :D Perhaps my current mentor will be so kind to remind me, should I forget.

Hear that, Mike?

Feng shui for health is one of the first steps to consider when looking to apply feng shui in your home. No matter your health is slightly out of balance, or you have been going through health complications for a while now, feng shui can help increase your energy levels and stay healthy.

Applying feng shui for health tips should always be done by priorities, as you need to create a good foundation for more advanced feng shui cures to really work. If you skip the basic feng shui for health steps, you might as well not bother with deeper feng shui levels.

Just like applying the best quality makeup will not help the skin look healthy long-term (if the skin is not cleaned and taken care of properly on a daily level), the same applies to more complex feng shui cures for health.

To create a good feng shui foundation for a healthy home, you have to start with feng shui health basics.

Ready for the basic feng shui steps for good health?

Here are the 3 absolute feng shui priorities for a home that will support vibrant health:
1. Fresh, Good Quality Air

Very often ignored, good quality air is indeed the #1 feng shui health priority. Work with feng shui air-purifying plants, open the window often to aerate the space, use essential oils to clear the air, use air purifiers, etc. Do whatever it takes to find solutions for better air in your home; breathing clean air regularly is the feng shui foundation for your health and well-being.
2. Sufficient Natural Light

In addition to allowing your home to receive as much natural light as possible, it is important to be aware of the need for intelligent and smart indoor lighting. Once you focus on the quality of light in your home, you will quickly feel a shift in your health and well-being. Light is our #1 nutrient, so be wise and give your body enough light nutrition. This also includes the smart use of feng shui colors, as the color is light.
3. A Clutter-Free Space

The very important feng shui step of clutter clearing is often ignored - or postponed - in favor of more "flashy" feng shui cures. Be serious and realize that no amount of wind chimes, good feng shui colors or feng shui plants will negate the low, depressing energy of clutter in your home. You just have to deal with your clutter, as clutter constantly drains energy from you.

Once you have these health priorities taken care of, you can start applying more specific feng shui cures which are based on the energy of 5 feng shui elements.

For example, placing lush green plants (Wood feng shui element) or a water feature (Water feng shui element) in the East bagua area of your space will bring beneficial feng shui energy for your health.

If you cannot have plants or a water feature in your space, you can bring the energy of the needed feng shui elements with color (green or brown for the Wood element and blue or black for the Water element). You can also bring the needed elements with feng shui art depicting a body of water (river, ocean, lake, waterfalls, etc) and/or lush greenery. Smart positioning of mirrors will also bring the Water feng shui element into your home.

Find out your Kua number and your best feng shui directions and try to re-arrange your desk and your bed so that you can face your best directions while working or sleeping.

Be mindful of the view you first see as you open your eyes (the view from your bed), as well as when you open your front door. These might sound like minor details, but they set the feng shui energy your body is receiving throughout the day. Every detail is important because our bodies register them all.

Treat your body with respect and give it the energy of beauty and joy - this will inevitably attract good health and well-being.

So once or twice a year, or as I'm directed by the Force, I do a Feng Shui review of my living space. Feng Shui represents a way to interpret how the energy of your home and it's location works for or against you.

I've read stories of people being ill or unsuccessful because of how the energy in their home continually effects them. People spend a lot of money to bring in an expert to build their home from the ground up to project healthy, wealthy, and happy energy in their homes and place of business.

Something to be mindful of, if a person moves into a new home or starts a new job and their life starts to change for the better or for the worse it may be because the energy of the area is effecting them. Anything from major problems, relationship problems, money problems, may be the results of how energy flows in their environment. It is suggested they find ways to raise the energy levels of such places. Such as adding positive pictures or other objects that when you look at them evoke positive feelings or just make you smile, to lighten your mood. That's why it's really important to feel the energy of a space before moving into it. Or spending as much time as possible in places that make you feel good in general, such a a daily walk in a park or next to a lake or river (if it feels like good energy). Also knowing the history of a place is good. What happened to the last people who lived there? Did they move because of a big promotion, perhaps the house had an active wealth and business center. Did they move because they lost their job, perhaps there is to much negative energy in the career area of the home. In general I wouldn't leave the home or leave my job if it looked like it had a lot of negative energy. I would do some little things like cleaning out clutter and organizing things and bringing in positive energy and inspirational pictures and objects to life up the energy.

One thing I was lead to realize is Feng Shui isn't about things or the lack of things or where things are, it's about energy and how that energy moves and flows around us. In meditation I was asked to think of Feng Shui as living in a dream world. Every object in a dream is a symbol that has a meaning for us which means everything in our home and work place operates in a symbolic way. What you have on your table is symbolic of a message that has an effect on you. Plants, colors, scented oils, crystals, all are symbolic objects that effects our energy. It's why stores put fresh flowers at the entrance, to make people feel good when they enter by looking and smelling something positive.

If you had a dream in which you entered a place that smelled like fresh flowers what would you think about that dream? If you had a dream that you were tripping over all kinds of things laying around you bedroom, how would you feel about that dream when you woke? Feng Shui is pretty much like lucid dreaming. We are effected by everything we encounter in life and we are effected a lot by the things we are around the most as well as the history of a space. Which is why some people do cleansing rituals before moving into a new space but doing feeling and cleaning energy work is a whole more involved topic. Something worth meditating over. /bows

Using intuition is being guided by the Force.

How can one change one's life by tapping into intuition? What is it? And how can you access it?
