This was written by our esteemed colleague Jedi Master Scythe and another esteemed colleague Jedi Knight Jedi Grayson Dark contributed to this material.

Quote:
Ok this is for all the new people that have joined and are thinking of joining.

Getting started starts in this order and should not be deviated from, if you have questions ask and then pay attention to the answers please.

1. Read the posts first and see if this is the path for you.
2. Post an introduction of yourself in the general forum.
3. Check out the WF-DOWN LOADS section (located on the left side of the screen in that large section of links.
4. Post a lot so people can get to know you, continue to read the posts and get to know the other members.
5. Visit the chat room and talk to people ask questions and get the answers, again pay attention to the answers.
6. USE PATIENCE WHEN LOOKING FOR A MASTER OR KNIGHT AND GET TO KNOW THEM, LET THEM GET TO KNOW YOU SO WHEN THE FORCE DECIDES YOU ARE READY THE MASTER/KNIGHT WILL APPROACH YOU.
7. Obey the rules and do as instructed, be civil to everyone and respect everyone and every thing.
8. Do not beg or ask how long it will take to reach Knighthood, that will make it take longer.
9. Do not be worried about rank or a lightsaber hilt you will be instructed on that process by your Master.
10. Do your tasks that are given you and things will be noticed when the work is shown.

Thank You if any Master's or Knight's have any thing to add please do so.
One more thing and this can never be stressed enough.

THIS IS NOT A ROLE PLAYING SITE IT IS A REAL RELIGION KNOWN AS JEDIISM, THE PEOPLE HERE BELIEVE IN THIS AND ARE NOT HERE TO PLAY GAMES, THOUGH WE ARE NOT SERIOUS ALL THE TIME!
1. Start journal in the apprentice candidate hall.
2. For your journal, write the Jedi Code, Creed and the 16 teachings of the Jedi.
3. For each line and teaching, explain what they each mean to you as a Jedi/person.
4. Also in your journal, you can add insights, personal philosophies, and experiences.

By writing these items in your journal, Knights and Masters will see who you are and it will be easier for you to find a master, or for the master to find his/her pupil.

*bump* For the new members asking this question, and an addition to it.

Welcome to our little temple, take alook around and post alot, ask any and all questions you may have of anyone here we are more then happy to help out, start your "youngling" journal in the first post you should tell us alittle 'bout yourself, why you decided to join our temple, what you feel you can learn from our teachings, and how you can be the best Jedi you can be.

After that start on the Jedi Code, Creed, 3 Tenants, the Vows, and 16 Teachings, the object is to write your view of each item in those areas and how you can use and incorporate them in to your daily life.

You can find these things in the FAQ section, I would also like to point you to the study downloads section and the Xoopstube section.

If you have any questions again ask anyone, either through PM,Chat or in the forums, each person has a profile
that can be viewed by clicking on their name it has further cantact information and a little more on them.

Again Welcome.

Patience is one of the most important aspects of a Jedi's life. We move slow to see what's ahead more clearly, we wait for the right moment to act in certain situations, and we stop to smell the roses.
