I'm all for it! In-fact that was part of my goal through creating the skype group, to at least get people in the various Jedi communities communicating so that perhaps we don't all feel so spread out and split up. So far I've had only a little success, and most of that has been here within this temple.

I agree, I think its a good idea. Nothing too bad can happen from dialogue. And we were one at a different point in time. I have no concerns about it, I think it would be good to open the doors again and see how we've evolved now that were separated.

Just my two cents.

I don't think anyone here would disagree with engaging with other fellow Jedi from other Communities, but the only problem is getting members from the other Orders in agreement and then finding a time that works out best with a majority.

I think that's a great idea Master. There is a lot of knowledge over at TOTJO, and even though there are some different opinions on certain topics, by having more communication I am sure both communities could benefit greatly from each other.

Thank you for all the responses so far. I'm looking for suggestions and ideas about how to make this program work. As we get it working with our sister site perhaps we can one day expand it to other sites. I believe we have much to share and much to learn from one another.

I believe so far we still have an Ambassador program that can perhaps be expanded and or revamped. Perhaps create a forum for visiting Jedi brothers and sisters. All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Should you create an ambassador set up, I would like to be considered for the position. Many thanks.

If I am not mistaken, we have an Ambassador rank. I believe it confers privledges of Knight status for access points.

I've looked through the database and Ambassador appears as a title only. Group access is set separately, usually registered user.

Perhaps for none ambassadorial members of other sites, titles such as
[name of site]-(and the rank they hold there).
e.i., TOTJO-Councillor/Bishop

One of the considerations i have is that "knight" allows access to the apprentice forums...

And many times, the postings there are more private than our public training...

I was thinking of leaving the Ambassador rank as a guest (basic level, plenty to post on) as to afford the training its privacy...

Also, Council to Council would need to be talked so that not just anyone could be a Ambassador....

Generally, an Ambassador speaks with some authority from their home site... For TOTJO Ambassadors, I will not approve of any below knight... (meaning any of us who come here will be knight or higher to be able tto speak "for" the site...

Really, we are all Ambassadors to our home sites... lol..
