I wouldn't think it'd be such an issue for a knight; he'd still be a fully sanctioned Jedi and allowed to do missions and be useful as a Jedi, even train initiates. If they had kicked out Jedi who couldn't reach master level, they'd likely have a bit of a problem having enough people to train the new generation. So as far as I see, the only problem for them would be if their ego got in the way and they couldn't continue doing their duty as Jedi without ranking up.

I always liked the idea of the Council of reassignment and the service core. Thus no-one is wasted or thrown out into the cold; they were given proper assignments in food production or in other fields, giving them a roof over their heads, food and a purpose of value. Whenever I've written fan fiction I've taken great pleasure in ensuring that the characters who do end up being sent to the various sites of the service core see the value in what they are doing as no less than those who proceed through the ranks, because they are working in service for the republic, providing food amongst other things where it is needed.

Anyways, I do enjoy the cannon-outside-the-cannon :P
I like to imagine how it'd be. And how it can be translated into our real world. Inspiration is always good.

I remember this video coming up on my recommended list a short while back. I watched it, and I it does make me rather curious as to what would become of someone here, who does not succeed in the trials. Maybe there is a topic somewhere that I have yet to see. But as a student who hasn't faced the trials, I yearn for the answer haha.

Good question. I'll tell you the secret about this place. There's really no way to fail. Someone could just leave and never return to the site but if they changed their mind and returned someone here would always be willing to work with them and help them make it through the trials or anything they have problems with here. As long as the person stays, there's someones who will help them work through it.

So anyone who says,"This isn't working for me, I'm out of here." Usually don't or won't ask for help. Any Knight and Master is available to contact for help and will work with anyone in need. Just be willing to change your point of view and be aware that changing your focus changes your reality.
