Hello all, I recently remembered that one of the many factors contributing to my many issues is that I have agenesis of the corpus callosom. Does anyone have any suggestions on handling life with this?

I'm afraid not. Until you brought this topic up, I had never heard of Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum.

It's a rare problem that I was born with apparently. It means the two sides of my brain don't cooperate a lot.

Have you done a lot of your own research?

I'd never heard of it either, but that's what Google is for, lol. What a rare and fascinating gift! You truly see the world differently from most of the population without having to be trained to do so. I wonder how you could show what you see to the rest of us, either through art, music, or storytelling, etc. It may take years to figure out, but that's how talents often work, lol.

I would say that as a Jedi with ACC, you might benefit from strengthening your ability to read facial expressions, which could help you increase your understanding of others and their emotions. Dr Paul Ekman is a leader in what he has termed "micro expressions," or very fast and small facial expressions that are like telltale signs of a person's true emotion. He has written a number of books on the subject and teaches people how to do it. There are also a number of YouTube videos on the subject. I'm not sure how good they are, but it's worth checking out. And yes, it's challenging, but with lots of practice, doable.
