I am also in talks with a person who is interested in my repulsor designs and we are discussing a collaboration on several products, I will be posting updates on the site blog page.

Sounds like a cool business :)
3D printing is awesome, I have a 3D program that lets me make stuff, but not the printer. I don't need the printer though, I just find it fun to play around with shapes, lol.

Blessings to your business, hope it all goes well.

Nira if you would like to make money creating 3D printing files I could really use the help.
I am not doing anything at the moment with printing, but I am told I should be getting my business license by this friday and my first set of lenders lending me money by the 10th of August, at which time I plan on buying a newer and bigger printer and other equipment and tools for my company and could use a designer.

my corporate website can be found at https://www.darklandindustries.com and you can see what I am offering and the things I plan on offering, my facebook sales page is http://www.facebook.com/dlithecompany/ which has all the printing items I offer.
Let me know.

The most common 3D printer format is .stl but there are about 8 different formats for the printable files.

I see a few pieces of software that look familiar. Wish I had a pc that was up to the task so i could check our some of thw new software That's on the market. Ifbtou can get past the learning curve looks like blender is the best one to use. All my experience is with older corporate software which is expensive. Blender is free and open source from what ive read.

I was shocked to see solidworks was listed as number 3 on the list and autocad at 7. People underestimate autocad more often then not. Having said that some of the newer sorftware is speaker with a better user interface.
