I thought I'd start this thread and see how it goes. Anyone is encouraged to ask any question related to the Jedi Path. This refers to the actual practice of the path in ones life and any questions that my arise from the practicing the way the Jedi.

Anyone is allowed to ask and or answer the question as they feel guided by the Force.

Force guide you.

Wow, good question Mike, after meditation on that one, here is what I got.

It is said, the wise man choices the path of least resistance which is also the path of greatest forgiveness. Also called the art of letting go.

Oh splendid ?

From my own point of view it matters not which one you choose , but what you create while on the path. And you should not follow in the same footsteps as one who has gone before for fear of making the same errors as they did, Observe from your own path , ask for guidance when you need it :)

Indeed, all paths eventually lead to the same place. Some people pick a more difficult way of getting there. Asking for guidance helps us maintain balance in many ways.

My question open to anyone to answer is how does a Jedi know the dark from the light side of the Force?

Ooo Very good question indeed Master octagon.

I think it might be quite a bold answer but some may follow one or the other and could not be aware of it.

I only say this as I fell into the trap of the Dark side and only by chance did I realize where and what I was doing not only to others but to myself.

Again only my humble opinion, but from what I have experienced the Dark offers you much more,It removes all emotion fear and to some point even kindness. It tells you it will look out for you..but it doesnt .

The long haul of it all it how one utilizes such gifts. I don't see the Dark side as being bad it is what is dome with it , The individual is whatever it seeks to be.

I dont see the Force or Ki as being anything other than just as it is neither positive nor negative just KI :)

Oof, that is a good question. One thing I've learned (and re-learned a few times, lol) is that if you're not sure, then it means your perspective is not coming from a calm place. When possible, I try to make the decision later when I am calm and can think it through more clearly.

I hesitate to say that knowing light from dark is a feeling or gut instinct, except that I also find it a bit too abstract to scrape concrete words together. I like what Mike said in that it's all in how you use it and what your intentions are. I'll have to think about this one some more... Good question, Master Octagon!

Good points. Perspective from a calm place is insightful.

Future questions and comments are encouraged from all.
