Just thought I'd share my meditation for the last few weeks.

I recently watched a documentary about a guy that had a mental breakdown and had to be committed to a mental institution. His parents were doctors and pushed him to over-achieve. He couldn't take it and tried to commit suicide before and after his release.

After he got out of the institution he went on a spiritual journey to be healed in South America by a Shaman. He made a journey to find a true Shaman after finding a lot who only seemed to be in it for the money. After going through many spiritual rituals he was finally healed and found his true place in the world as a film maker.

My meditations revealed that he was born to bring balance into his families life by bringing them more to the spiritual and artistic side of life. They resisted which almost ended in their sons death. But they learned to let him walk his own path and they learned that sometimes spiritual treatments can work better then modern medicine.

The other documentary I saw was about someones daughter who was afraid of growing old and ended up having a nervous breakdown. Her mother was a senior athlete who taught her daughter how to focus on the positive and look forward to growing older. So here was an example of parents teaching their children how to find balance.

It would appear that family diversity is not a random thing but was created in the Force for a specific reason.
I've always been amazed by the diversity of a family unit. It seems the best way to find balance is to get to know and understand your family. This is one of the best ways to learn acceptance, balance, and how not to take life too seriously.

A Jedi uses the Force for nothing, and... for everything.
