Hello all,

Master Duro and myself have been talking and we have been wanting to do a week long camping trip that will double as a Jedi training course for face to face lessons as well as a fun get together so we can learn to coincide with nature and each other.

Right now we are thinking of it as an annual thing every summer and maybe if it has a large enough group of people we could do two gatherings each year.

The rough draft idea is as follows:

Day 1
1. Meet in designated town and get a head count
2. Go to camp ground and setup area
3. Designate duties for the day
4. Meal
5. Class schedule
6. Lectures
7. Discussions
8. Games
9. Meal
10. Jedi Training Course
11. Set up fire
12. Ghost Stories and Camping Stories
13. Smore's

Day 2
1. Breakfast
2. Daily duties
3. Lectures
4. Hike
5. Nature Lessons
6. Jedi Training Lessons
7. Meal
8. Games
9. Discussions
10. Free Time

This is all we have at the moment.
So who would be up for something like this and what would you add to the itinerary?

We could probably set something up for August of this year if anyone would like to try it this year.

Group focused meditation should be a daily event as well as individual meditation.

I agree with group focused meditation, have done it in the past and did feel the group energy. Also done for healing groups.

Ziphin,

I am currently in Parachute, Colorado and have a large number of camping areas just up the road as for when....

Summer time would be the best and the best months are June, July ad August.

Meditations and group meditations can be added.

So 113 people have seen this and only one person besides myself voted and only 2 comments.....

Let me add that the hotel I am staying in is only $67 a night for a 2 bed room, the camp area is free and there are several locations for food, gas and so on.

The ruffin' it week is sic days and the seventh day would be in a hotel room so everyone can shower and sleep in a comfy bed, this hotel also has a laundromat so everyone can do their laundry.

I would really like to see more people at least thinking of getting involved, the only costs would be travel to and from Colorado and the hotel room on the last day.

It sounds like a lot of fun, Master Scythe, and you've clearly put a lot of thought and work into planning this. Thank you for thinking of all of us.

I personally couldn't get away for a whole week, and I'm sure it's the same for many others, but it's tempting to try and make a couple days work out. I don't quite know if I could make it work though, lol. Is this strictly a Jedi event, or are families/friends invited?

I wish I lived in the USA and it seems less and less probable that I'm going to get there this summer... so it'd be awesome but I could only make it perhaps the next summer

Sinistra,

Whenever you can make it will be fine, just let me know and we can hash out the specifics and logistics for everything.
