This is more a question for the knights and masters here.

Do any of you teach animism as part of your syllabus?

Recently ive been studying a lot of shamanism and one of the key principles is animism. It occured to me that animism is probably the best way to explain the force and its interaction with the world. But then I started thinking back and honestly can not remember this concept being talked about or mentioned in the years I've been here.

Why do we not teach animism as a core fundamental understanding?

This is more of less just an open discussion so any and all thoughts are welcome. No judgment. Love you guys have an amazing day.

Good question and it has been touched upon a few times in these forums.

Animism comes up most often when discussing dreams and there meaning as this tends to be the easiest way for spiritual energy, guides, and the Force in general, to make known their presence and advise us.

It's usually covered as advance training because most students have their hands full mastering the basic doctrine and integrating regular practices like meditation into their lives. Along with mastering the darker aspects of the self which can cause a lot of grief, pain, and even illness, in our lives until we have come to understand, accept, and forgive that part of ourselves.

I understand that but it makes little sense to bring it in at the back end. Realistically it's a foundation and should be understood upfront. Once realized it really makes everything flow a lot easier. Sorry for the rant just my opinion here. It's not really a difficult thing to understand either. I mean we already teach that all things have the force flowing through them which is most of the battle.

It would be interesting to see who else would be interested in understanding how spirit energy effects us and works in our lives.
