There's a whole month ahead of you, but have you considered how you'll say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021? Did you know that there's a Jedi Ceremony developed specifically for this occasion? It was something I and Gabe started last year in place of the New Year's Meditation Relay I had run the previous decade. :)

I'm trying to orchestrate a small one (no more than 3 other people) here in the Upstate. Originally (as in last year when I came up with it) I wanted to see if I couldn't get the local Universalist Unitarians involved...but COVID made that impossible. Maybe next year...:).

Is it possible to do a virtual gathering? Perhaps in Second Life, I believe they still have some Jedi Temples there, even though I haven't logged into it in years. Or perhaps even a zoom meeting/ceremony.

Possibly, the thing about the Labyrinth ceremonies is that they are intended to be done in a very physical way. When you become intuned with your movements (how you hesitate when you walk, forcing yourself to move forward through the memories by making each step, etc) it brings each lesson into a physical manifestation and shows you are strong enough to move through them.

The methodology for a Virtual Gathering would need to be in such a way that everyone walks their own labyrinth, and at the center we could have a virtual chat on a mobile device. Then walk the Labyrinth back and say our final farewell.

If people are willing to actually do it in this manner, then I'd be all about a virtual Ceremony.
